Qeust with 6th finger & Horrigan

I don`t know anyone who could answer me how to finish this quest? There is no one capable of answering in several countries, so maybe someone can help. The first who`ll answer will win ... satisfaction Just don`t tell me that it is a glitch or that it can`t be finished.

Ok, first, drop any boots you are carrying. Then, go run around in some radioactive slugde, like in the Klamath Caves. Do this for a while, then leave. Travel for a while, then stop. Check for the message "Your feet itch" or something like that. You should get a few more messages of the type, and then "You have grown an extra toe" (it's a 6th toe, not finger) Then go to Vault City, and talk to the doctor in the courtyard. Have him remove the toe, then it will apear in your inventory (it has a cool description). When you meet Frank, use it on him. It lowers his max HP by 9 (so his HP will be 990/990 instead of 999/999). It serves no useful purpose, Interplay probably just had the prostitutes tell you about it to get everyone to replay the game (who the hell could have figured out that quest without being told about it?)

I just checked with Fime. The toes does 3hp of damage and 2 poison levels. That's to anyone, not just Horrigan.

..Aye, one of my online buddies read somewhere that it causes an instant death on Horrigan. I've never tried it, so maybe I will.. Once I un-lazify myself enough to play Fallout again.. oO

I found out about the toe and how to remove it but never thought of using it on a person, and is it an offical pipboy quest to use it on horrigan? How the hell would use a toe on a person anyway??/ what do you do, make them eat it or something??? mad
