safe in Modoc

This has surely been discovered by many but i've never seen it before, and i've played fallout2 6 or 7 times.In the upper map of Modoc , in Farrel's home (the one that asks you to clean out his garden from radrats),behind a matrace there is a safe.Finding it gives a new dialogue option with Farrel and also a new way to finish the watch quest.Haven't seen yet what's in it,cause my character didn't have high enough lockpick skill to crack it.Now i'm in Vault City but planing to get back.
