saving a precious jewel
OK this is proberbly more of a tech-issue - but the tech forum is moving immensly slow - so I hope you can bare with me because I would REALLY like your opinion.
The problem goes as follows - my Fallout 2 CD has become a bit worn out (or maybe its CD-rom drive), that is to say i'm having difficulties when installing the game - ok you could always go for the largest instalation that would minimize the use for the CD. It is not critical.........yet, but it will be over time.
I had the "bright" idea of ripping the CD making an iso-file and thus saving it on my hard drive for easyer use with deamon tools.
Only problem is....it dosn't work - I think theres some kind of laserlock (proberbly a trademark)that inhibits the making of such an iso or burning format.
Has any of you guys tried this, if so I would like to hear your ideas and suggestions
Ofcource I could always download it from edonkey - but it takes forever and I already got the original game.
Hope to hear from you
Cheers from Denmark
