Say, how do the various chems work?
Looking through Per Jorner's excellent Nearly Ultimate guide I noticed that you can actually achieve permanent improvements to ST and PE using Jet and the Jet antidote. If you took the right traits and attributes during character creation that should allow you to create a character with all 10s in attributes without modding the game. So it's not really cheating, though it probably is exploiting a rather obvious bug... But then all's fair in war and Fallout 2
The real problem with it is that it requires you to set your ST and PE really, REALLY low from the beginning which, in a work, blows...
However, if you take a high EN (which you'll have to since only Gain Endurance increases it) you'll resist the effects of chems pretty well. That could allow you to get some of the perks and so that are otherwise unavailable.
Only trouble is that I'm not sure how the various chems work. Does anybody have a list of the modifiers (both initial bonuses and eventual penalties) at hand or can you direct me to one?
Not even sure this 'cheat' works... Has anyone tried it?
