Sierra Army Boggle

I think I'm in a pickle...
Questions
1. How do I get Skynet? I have the brain and the biogel, but I can't seem to find the motivator thing. It might sound a bit... pathetic, but I tried referring to just about every guide/walkthrough that I could find and it all points to a living Robo-brain that I cannot find.
<begin sob-story>
More specifically, I'm not sure that the Robo-brain even spawned or is there (for one reason or another.) I've checked every floor, through the corners, and although I can find the deactivated one (which I think Skynet downloads into,) I cannot find a living one that I can rip a motivator out of. (Supposedly one is at 3rd floor, slightly South of the elevator, but that place is mainly empty for me.) I've had a similar situation earlier in the game when I entered Vault City but couldn't find half the NPCs (Customs NPCs were not there so I couldn't enter, greeting sub-officer was gone, people in tent and in Cassidy's Bar were not there...) and when I tried to find the elevator key for the Toxic Caves in Klamath on a body near a Vertibird guarded by a bot, the blood-stain was there but there was no body.
And so now I'm hunting with a Cybernetic brain in my hands with two eyeballs in the desert praying that the brain doesn't have an expiration date.
</end sob story>
2. And a more elementary question: How do I deactivate individually a force-field? Beyond the 1st floor, it looks like I'm supposed to 'repair' a force-field to turn it off? I've tried clicking on the walls or surfaces around the force-field, and everytime I click to target a repair on the red force-field itself, my character just takes 6 more points of damage. Basically... for every force-field in the base, I've just decided to run through (and I would continue to except I'm out of stimpacks and down to 38 health.)

Does anyone have the furthest-shot clue as to what to do, or am I sounding loopy now?

RE: Sierra Army Boggle

To get a motivater for Sky Net ,go to the first floor and try using the thing on the wall next to the elevator without using an eyeball.This will trigger 6 security robots that you will have to kill,then just serch the wrecks of the 4 that look like Sky Net.
When looking at the force-fields you see something sticking up to the left at door-nob hieght,just use a pair of plyers on that.

RE: Sierra Army Boggle

You can only disable the force field emitter for yellow fields. You need to go back outside, and into the underground room where the power switch is. Turn it back on, and go back into the building. Now you can use the repair skill on the force field emitter to temporarily disable it.

Merci Beaucoup

Oop, okays, thanks for the heads up with Skynet and the fields, now I can finally pay tribute for getting Sulik killed...
