The Children Patch stuff

Hey just few days ago my PC had to be emptied so now I can put the Children patch on F2 without any trouble about savegames. But I remember just download the Children Patch isn't enough to get children in the game. What do I have to do again(it didn't had anything to do with the savegameconverter)?

You have to use the US 1.02 patch after you install the children patch, then it should work properly
