Right then...

When Im in Broken Hills, first off how do I Buy Uranium, and second of all, what does the Uranium do ? is it for Geckos Reactor ?

You can't buy uranium, you have to find it. Once you enter the mine go to the right of your screen. You should see a wall with some rocks lying in front of it. You can get past the rocks into a secret cave. In there you find some guy and a footlocker. In that locker is an unrefined piece of ore. Pick it up and take it to the ghouls in the factory just under the house where the Bill is in. Let them refine it and let them buy it back from you. It doesn't go to Gecko though.

Actually, you can. You can buy the stuff from caravan merchants running around between the military base and SF. But, it doesn't do anything. You can't refine it, because the glowing guy will just tell you to F**k off, and selling it only nets you $60-90 a piece. It's like the gold ores. Another potential quest that didn't finish.
