Weapon Weight

One last tidbit...

I was in SF happily wasting hubologists; I was very heavy w/ guns when done. I found that, though I couldn't pick up an assault rifle, loaded, I could unload it and pick it up and the ammo seperately.

RE: Weapon Weight

Oh yeah--- something funny...

If you have good speech & (I think) Doctor (I already had VC Med Training), and you talk to Maria, her Dad comes in. Tell him you were giving her a full physical, and you will get an amusing response.

RE: Weapon Weight

I may have an explanation for that. Ammo has a certain weight. This is the weight for a full box of ammo. For example a full box of 10mm has 24 bullets in it and has a weight of 1 pound. If you find 2 10mm pistols who are loaded, you can unload them and get 20 shots of 10mm ammo. Put togheter that amount stays under the amount of a full box and will only have a weight of 1 pound. If they are inside the gunns, they will be seen as seperate items and then they will have both a weight of 1 pound. So it might just be that you couldn't pick up the loaded assault rifle because of your weight capacity but you could pick up the ammo seperatly because you had a cause of 5mm that was not full therefore actually "gaining" 1 pound.
