What the...?

I just played Fallout 2 again, already blew up oil rig, I decided to visit the Shark Club and I was watching what that stand-up comedian had to say. Well, I stood there a while, listening to his 'jokes', and then he died like he got killed by a SMG or something. No1 shot him and the info bar said: 'Shitty Comedian was hit for 10000 hit points and got killed'. Someone from the crowd said: 'Amazing!'. What is this?

Never happened to me, but I never really listened to the comedian. I would think that this is just an 'easter eggish' thing that game designers put in a game to spice it up or something. I would like to know if it has a purpose though.

Never happened to me either. Nonetheless yes it is and easter egg. Another example of a random death easter egg would be T-Ray in the chop shop. If you're a girl and have enough charisma (or at least have sexpert or giggolo or something, porn star works too) you can talk him into sex for your car back and all the enhancements you need. Eventually after too much sex he screams "aaaah too much sex!!" and explodes taking 5000 damage hehehe. VERY funny.
