What weapons can Sulik REALLY use?

I've tried Sulik with rifles and shotguns, and even an energy fist, but the only weapons he ever uses are a sharpened spear and a knife. What gives? He claims he can use rifles and/or shotguns (can't remember exactly) but he never choses them as the "best" weapon. With his knife, he has become a major liability in any fight with anything heavier than a golden gecko. Try killing one of those "winnebago " things in the Redding mine with a knife! Can he actually use larger guns, or is he full of it?

he can use any melee weapon, and any unarmed weapon, and any sub machinegun style weapon such as the 10mm smg =]

to get him to use it, you have to click the custom button for combat tactics in his menu and change what weaponclass you want him to use

I usually start Sulik off with a Sledge Hammer, before taking one of the Yakura's blades. They are pretty damn good as it uses one less action point than the Sledge Hammer and does some fairly good damage. After that try the Super Sledge Hammer, or Ripper. Or the Slugger.

A Greasegun is ok as a Submachine gun but you need to tell Sulik to revert to Ranged Weapons then Melee.

I usually make Sulik stay close to me in fights, and take the weaker opponents. That means he's less likely to run off to attack an enemy and block your aim, and to get killed!. Also it means you can concentrate on dishing out more damage with your own weapons as often melee attacks are less powerful.

Hope that helps. Btw - Don't go into the Mines until you've all levelled up a fair bit. And not with Knifes. You want fairly good weapons and armor or it's pointless.

He can use SMG's.If you have enough ammo give him a H&K G11e.He can use .223 pistol too.Take all of his weapons.Because if he has a knife or sledge he does'nt use SMG.

He can use the fist, hammer,spear and sub-machine gun (altough it is a medium size handgun). You must change his weapon preference first from melee to ranged then melee. My advice: Don't give him any Sub Machine Gun except the big bore semi automatic Pistol (the .223 or 14 mm) or he'll blow your opponent, your friends and -in some known cases- yourself

"We be good with fists, spears, big-hammers and sub-machine guns. We be a handful." Only thing is, he can't use the power fist or the mega-power fist or the Tommy gun. You can't trust a tribal to tell you the truth. Oh yeah, I forgot. I'm a tribal too. :P

It looks sort of like the Bozar. I don't know why the Bozar has a scope if you can't used targeted shots.
