why so hard?

Okay, no posts saying, "ITS NOT HARD, I BEAT IT IN A DAY! YOU WUSS!" and other immature stuff like that...but here's the question, why do they not want you to do good? Everything's so damned expensive and you encounter like 12 enemies at once, what the hell are you supposed to do?

Anyway, im supposed to go into gecko city (i think)...but im the only one who wields a gun due to the increased cost of living since the original game...will i horribly die? I'm guessing so.

RE: why so hard?

To make the game a challenge. When you finish the game and want to play it again, you'll be happy that it's hard.

RE: why so hard?

It sounds to me that the game isn't patched. Patch it and the cost af living will go down drastically.

RE: why so hard?

What i dont like is the easyness of all games out at the moment. Somegames even on hard are just too easy and so to find a challenge sometimes I have to go back to my old Amega games. Sigh :-(

Only the 1st part of the game is hard in this way, when u become strong enough to beat a band a raiders with ease then the game becomes easy (ironically at the Gecko part seems to be it). Once I set myself the challenge of traveling to San Fran after I left Arroyo. I managed to do this (at level 2). When i got there I just done some random encounters where its raiders vs huboligists (sommet like that). Looted the dead bodies, sold what I had and was made for the rest of the game. I stole a flippin Guass rifle at the tanker and ammo at level 2! And the game is hard eh?
