Now, I know there's plenty of suggestions saying that you should be able to take a much less "Heroic" path through the game. However, what of the possibility of forcing the character to be more evil, such as how FO and FO2 have pretty much forced you to be a good character? I realize that this can bring up massive complications in how people think about a game and how they progress through it. Such as, how do you continually level up, and find progressively more difficult good guys? I'm not really sure about that myself, but one possibility could be something like rising through the ranks of a raider group, or radical religious group. And it's always a possibility that you could be a super mutant. I'm sure everyone's gotten the dip treatment in FO before, maybe it could be a continuation of that path rather than that of F02, i.e. Mr. Kill Everything That Moves, Save the Day. Any further suggestions or comments?

Good idea.....i think that the way your catachter is made only to be good is corny...it sucks...there should be a real evil way to the game and not just your karma going south and some people who wont talk to you any more...
your idea about ranks in evil groupes is good....i allways preferred the enclave to the brotherhood...they just kick ass

This is not an auvoir but a bonjour to an ever lasting dream with out wakening....

Arcanum's flavor of evil. Or perhaps Geneforge's way of allowing evil, too, but that is always in perspective of the other people in the setting. You've got to play it to believe it.

Yeah EVILLLLLL!!!!!!!!
Some how i think perhaps it's nice if i work for ENCLAVE or the MASTERS..... Lets say "Get out FranK!! I am the new Mutant Commando!!!! Get lost and give me your Power Armor!!!"

And as obviously unlikely as it is, a patch to include actual negative consequences to either of the existing fallouts would be a majorly fun improvement. Rather than simply being ostrasized by the simple and good folk in the FO world, you'd be hailed and recognized by the less than clean slate denizens of the world. I remember the joining the thieves' guild in FO, getting a quest to prove myself, and the reward being something along the lines of "Congratulations. Here's a lockpick. Go do something actually worth-while in this game." Total biter. I just think that something like this would be difficult because of a lack of understanding of how to "Reward" the player for doing heinous acts. Like, good job, you assassinated the president of the NCR for a mafia boss. Here's your reward of... whatever we have lieing around. Get out. I'd really like to be sort of praised by those who walk a little closer to the dark side of life in the game, and the opprotunity just isn't there.
