if something similar has been done already please comment it as I would like to see such mods.
I would like to see a mod that stops the perk screen from popping up after skills are chosen, or just lets you buy them after reaching max level, better yet, allows you to continue leveling after 30 but when you have maxed your stats you are brought straight to the perk screen instead of the skills screen.
It could allow you to level up normally and raise your skills, however you are able to purchase your perks from a merchant(or a terminal) based on what skills you've raised, this could be done with an exchange of caps, ears, fingers, or add a new currency that's unlocked for completing challenges of sorts,
maybe even add variety based on karma and quest, like for evil perks you have to pay with fingers, and ears for good, a token of some sort could be awarded upon quest completion for perks that fall, under a neutral category, and caps could be used for perk additions from other mods,for simplicity sake maybe just decide on one currency even. perks could still be level based to determine whether they show in the merchants list.
this way even if you level up to 30, you can continue to unlock perks.
