Fallout 3 to Playstation 2. It would be cool, but i would be like GTA3 or like Halflife, on how you see your own character.. What do you think?
 
well i think your fingers should be torn off and not given back to you ..... bah , if you could see your own character it would just pigeon-hole your character into looking what the game developer saw it ... i dont see why it couldnt work on the ps2 though ...... it may cheapen the fallout experience though...
 
Sorry but that sucks! The ps2 is crap, fallout belongs on the PC, and no where else!
 
I don't see MY character. I see a choice of 4 Sony approved
characters. I see wishing the SONY CORP would sanction hard drive storeage instead of forcing the use of 8 meg memory cards or the unsanctioned options. A hard drive might compete with a future PS-3. I see violence and mayham but no "sex, drugs,'n' rock 'n' roll. Why? Because of the mass marketing necessary to
justify any corporate expense. I don't see a B.I.S. PC FO 3.
Might compete with the Sony corporate agenda.

Be careful what you wish for. How about a Fallout "themed"
game for the PS2? Might have fewer disapointments.

Well, if you have played GTA3, you would know. I think it would be grat if they made FO3 to PS2, PS2 isnt the perfect game station, but it would do. Hmm, maybe when you would use your other skills then weapon skills it would be some problems.. or not..

It's probably better on the XBox since it's all pc in a manner of speaking anyway. Even then I wouldn't put anything past by the Sony guys, because these guys cared too much about their marketing to care about integrity of their products. The only person who has pull in sony and gave a damn is gone, passed away a few years ago, so don't get your hopes up here.

It would be interesting if they throw the production to Sega though, bec. I can just imagin what they can do with an awsome product like this.

Just remember, both MGS2 and FF10 are not made by sony, they are just lucky those games are on their machines, and the fact that they have huge pulling power in the entertainment industry. Then again, square did came out with FF: the movie, so I wouldn't say it's a one way street. Last I heard sony lost $200 million(that's US$, folks) on that one, ouch.

i dont get it, the vault dweller wasnt what you imagined, he was some white guy with black hair. so whats the difference if sony has a play in it..? *confusion*

Because unlike PCs, they will be obsolete in a few years.

A pity, too, because the SNES was perhaps the pinnacle of console CRPGs.
 
I was fooled into actually buying the PS2, really it's just an over expensive CD player. It has some nice features, and yeah, a fallout 'themed' game would be better, we wouldn't get our hopes up too much so we wouldn't have so far to fall. Remember Tactics, before it was released I thought it would be the most birlliant game ever, just because it was a little different and made by different people, not only that but it was about the BOS, even better. Now look at it.

The only thing that needs changing is the plot and perhaps setting, otherwise the Fallout games should stay like the first two. That way we can guarantee we'll like them.

I don`t think Fallout 3 on PS2 would work, for me i need the mouse for everything,I couldnt imagine Fallout with out the mouse because thats how you explore things and its also easier to use the mouse than a keyboard or controller, but thats just me.
 
Well i disagree with that. Lemme give U some reason.
1. I didn't have and would never have a PS2 console (simply too expensive.) And like Tracer Tong says (Character in Deus Ex). In Asian Black Market you could got any software for 2 chips, except for PS2 game..... Oh yeah for original FO2 only 10 bucks
2. How you gonna save it! One card for one slot?
3. There will be many time consumed for loading! Trust me..
4. Just like other sez. PS2 is sucks!
5. I don't think XBOX better either.
6. Fallout belong to PC, not PS or Xbox or GameCube or even GameBoy advance (well why not make it on SNES? I will gladly had one.)
 
Ok this is really pissing me off. ANYONE WHO SAYS FALLOUT 3 SHOULD BE MADE FOR THE PS2 OR XBOX OR ANYOTHER CONSOLE NEEDS TO BE BANNED AND SHOT! I mean JESUS, THIS IS FALLOUT! NOT SOME CRAPPY CONSOLE GAME! GIVE ME A BREAK! ALso i dont know if you have notcied but GTA3 is also on the PCs, dumbasses, so it would be totally gay if they made Fallout for the PS2. Xbox is also as bad or worse. I dont know how you people sleep at night when you tell others that Fallout 3 should be on the PS2. I bet you some of you idiots ave'nt even played Fallout and are making up lame ass requests for FO3...

i agree if you want fallout on PS2 you should die. that or go play fallout a figure out why it shouldn't be on a one of those damn game box things. and ya maybe gta 1-3 are great games but the only reason why most games are put on ps2 and all those other systems is to make money no care for game play, for story line nothing. the world doesn't need another 1st person shooter and if fallout made it to a game system i think that what it would become. why you ask? for the money my youbng child
