FO3 tattoos

This may have been posted already, but I don't feel like digging through months of old posts. I think it would be cool if in FO3 your character could get tattoos, some being exclusive to certain groups or character types, e.g. members of the BoS could get a Wings, sword, and gears tattoo, analogous to the USMC's eagle, globe, and anchor. What do you guys think?

Somehow I doubt there'll be a Tatoo shop in FO3, but would these tatoos give stats like Torment?

Not unless those tattoos replace armor with stats in a completely incoherent and poorly design way.

I was thinking that it would have an effect on NPC reactions and maybe offer some cool dialogue options, similar to the slaver tattoo in FO2.

Well, considering the utter -fail- that was beards in Oblivion, it only makes sense that they slighty overcompencate in Fallout 3

There are no game based tats? The slaver tatoo made perfect sense. Maybe if you also need a tatoo to become a made man. If they build on the kick ass elements from F2.

Yes, tatoos are a necessity, without them, the radio, bobble heads, and the quest compass this would clearly not be a worthy sequel.
