Hi everyone. Somehow couldn't find thread that contains this easy way to get to chests north of that power distribution house in Broken Hills. It has worked on every fallout 2 version i have played last 25 years.
I haven't seen this trick on any game guide i've read and feel free to update this trick on those.
1. Near exit grid and edge of map, position your character in closest spot to fence that is only half visible.
2. Move your mouse cursor to edge screen so it chances to red X with Yellow Arrow
3. Click once to move other side of fence.
-Some game version requires character to walk
