FOPoS delayed?

I like the interpretation that you provide. Hey, everything is relative, right?

I don't know why does interplay even try to waste money on games like that. Oh well maybe aliens will abduct the developers of that game and it will be canned because of that</hope>

Wow, nice to see you again Hellraiser, I thought you died or something (if you're the same Hellraiser who gave us, FMC, hosting that is).

OH NO!!!

on the other website it said that the game has gone gold for xBox and PS2... and now its being delayed? oh no what shall we do? are they actually trying to make this game good? I thought they wanted to sell it? makes absolutely no sense to miss the lucrative holliday season polishing THAT game... seriously though it seems like a total waste of money buying this game, but the least they could have done was make the muzzle flashes much more realistic and COOL... like say in Max Payne 1/2... makes perfect sense cuz all ur doing is walking around shooting guns...

seriously though it should be much dirtier than it is... hell bums in Deus Ex looked more post apocalyptic than these characters.

and yeah I can go on forever, but it won't matter a damn thing, won't make even a little bit of a difference.

I guess critical reviewers will make sure to rip this game apart like nobody's business ... with ratings like 0/100 "This is a sorry excuse for a video game, a total ebarassment of the medium and the name of fallout, if you see it on the shelves take out a lighter and BURN IT right there on th spot, so as to not contaminate the unknowing people who may think about buying it"

Interplay has no money to really advertise this game anywhere... so I SERIOUSLY doubt it will sell at all, with games like that I find that a lot of people only go out and buy it if there are some favorable reviews, but I can't see a chance of that happening.

Too Dry To Spit

Too Dry To Spit

It does not seem in character for this band of market'eers to hold back publication for QA considerations. But then, how does one patch a console?

Even BG:DA2 was delayed.

Is the dehydration in cash flow, and the corporate infighting over dev dollars responsible for delay?

How much does it take to prime the cd burners and print the boxes? What's the lead time to get a boxed title on the shelves?

Maybe it's more cost effective to use screenies and trailers to wet the whistle of appetite than multipage ads in the print media.

So it's still like waiting for that second shoe to drop.....
just another bump in the night...
Ghoulies and ghosties and thangs.....,..... and rumors of ghoulies and ghosties and thangs......, good lord deliver us, 'n'all that.

Virtual is as virtual does.
Vapor is as vapor was.

My God, I read the first announcement of Duke Nukem Forever in fucking 1997. 1997! And does anybody remember Prey? That shooter that was announced as revolutionary and was supposed to bury Quake 2? I haven't heard any news about that one since 1998. Interestingly, both were 3D Realms projects. What's even more interesting, 3D Realms released loads of crappy console-only platform games like Duke Nukem: Time to Kill and Duke Nukem Manhattan in the mean time.

Bah, but I digress. This news actually worries me. If Interplay can't even publish a crappy cash-cow like Piece of Shit on time, how will they ever manage to publish Fallout 3?

Easy. Didn't you hear about Acclaim buying the rights to the Fallout licence?
