check out this link...New MiniDisc players, with 1GB of capacity!!!I'm glad I didn't already buy a harddrive based mp3player!!This is a lot better because MD players are very durable and smaller than most hard drive based mp3 players!!The only bad part is I've got to wait till april...But I believe it's going to be worth the wait.....And they battery capacity of MD players far excel the batteries of hard drive based mp3 players, and normal mp3 players as well (most of them), and a lot more capacity...And it's amazing that the 1GB MD's will retail at just 7$!!!!

20 Gigs of MP3 or WMA= LOT'S of music, without having to switch anything in your car, just upload to phatbox hardrive, edit playlists, and you have your PC in your car.

Interesting, I'm thinking about buying a MP3 player, but maybe I should look into this instead. The iPod looks sweet though and would also be useful as a portable HD.

In Sydney now, everyone is buying an Ipod (but not me I'v got an empty wallet, memory and imagination instead).

but MD players can take much more of a beating and has a lot better battery capacity than an Ipod...that's why I'm going for that...
