FOT Problem

Hi, I recently bought fallout tactics and when I started to play it, I noticed that it was VERY slow. When I try to scroll on the screen it thinks for like 10 seconds, and as u can imagine, it is very annoying. And when theres a battle, it has to stop and think before just about every shot. Any suggestions? I'm on Win2k, P2 350, 96 megs of ram on a voodoo 3 3000. And I ran the demo just fine.
 
my problem is about the same, although the game runs cool. This is probably because of your ram, you shouldn't have installed w2k with only 96 megs of ram. I have 256 and on some large maps scrolling goes slow...

demo worked fine because it had really small maps

something I noticed is when you zoom or turn off the minimap, scrolling improved. try that, it could speed up a little

I have the same problem. Even though i have PIII @ 800Mhz, 128Mb RAM and a GeForce II MX w/ 32Mb, i still get delayed reactions and framiness when scrolling. Though my 'symptoms' are not as pronounced as yours, i still get it and it gets REALLY annoying. I wonder if I should buy more RAM...

i wouldn't buy more ram , i have 128mb ram and its fine, the problem probably lies else where.
 
I had that same problem and i kinda got rid of it by turning of the 3D sound just go to the screen where you choose your sounds and scroll up and turn off 3D sounds.
