Francis Armwrestling: stat roll or ST-on-ST fight?

This one guy, Zen claimed that you can pump Francis with Jet before the fight (and wait for the after-effect to lower his ST) and then beat him easily even with crappy physique. I'm far too busy to verify that, but can someone confirm or deny it works that way? Per's Guide has no mention of it, I think.
 
I feel Zen has more up his sleeve. Started a gameplay trivia contest with some really tough questions.
 
I've read somewhere that also the unarmed skill is taken into consideration when you're wrestling Francis.

Don't you still have to pump some points into it to beat him?

This is an interesting way to beat him though. Never would have thought of that.
 
Turns out that you need ST 8 to even try to armwrestle, but still, this trick gives you victory even with that stat (normally more is needed...)
