First time out of the vault
I cant beat him I've recruited his guards but i know i can use the card I got off the president to turn the turrests friendly
but when I try it nothing happens
what do I do??
my sience is at 99

does it have to be a certain level?
same with speach i think thats gotta be 90 to recruit them guards.
 
thnx I took some mentats and spoke to them soldiers my speach had to be over 90 and I had to talk to them a few times for it to show up...

yes that happens usually ...you have to speak to them a couple of times,even if your speech is 120.
 
If you have a halfway decent Big Guns skill, there are some Vindicator miniguns around (the guy guarding the scientist on the lowest level has one, along with more than enough ammo). That thing is vicious, a few bursts is usually enough to flatten him.
 
I agree. Use the Gauss rifle you can get from the ship to pop him in the eyes, then try to cripple him and stay OUT of range!

Horrigan's a hoss to be sure, but it's just his HP that's the bugger! He runs out of ammo and can't reach you with his 'big boss knife'? You're good. >D!
