Does anyone know a good and free hosting service for a website? I've been trying to find one, but I don't know who to trust. Some just have weird names and other don't seem very stable/settled.

If you want one with tons of features, and minimal ads (duh), I suggest http://www.coolfreepages.com/
Their PHP and MySQL database support is a bit iffy (though, still the only free host that provides that kind of stuff that I've found), but otherwise their service is pretty good.
