Free to a good home: Fallout Tactics on CDROM

I just bought the same exact one you are gifting from a similar seller on the exact same earth biggest shop. I wanted the "trilogy" and got the same collection, published by Interplay with the radiation cover you have posted.

I had heard of the UK censored version, and I am afraid this is censored (THE PEGI16+ euro as opposed to T or MA US designation.)

I have played Wasteland on the C64, and Fallout 3 and NV on 360 and Steam. Want to go retro and give the classics a go.

The bottom line, is my game censored?

If it says 16+ it is extremely likely you have the censored version. Most likely it is only missing children, but it could potentially be missing swearing as well. More rarely, for example in the German version, they also cut gore.

Fear not, however! There are patches here (including my mod and other smaller targetted patches/mods) that will fix the issue for you by restoring what was cut. See the Files section.
 
Thank you... If I install it and play with the FIXT, it will be the same game as if I were to exchange through amazon for the M rated copy then? I'm in the US, and have approval to return it. Thing is, I want to play sooner!

Also, can I get 2 and Tactics up to a similar build?

It should be the same as if you had the Mature/USA version, yes. Actually better in fact because it aims to include all patches and fixes :razz: But don't let me make the decision for you; if you want to exchange it I think that's a good idea to do it.

For Fallout 2 you want the Unofficial Patch and Restoration Project here. Scroll down and in his sig there's links for just the patch, if you prefer that over the Restoration Project version.

Not sure about Tactics, sorry. If you search here maybe there's patches for it.
