Anyone played these gems ?
If so what do you think ?

To give a little rundown of the games:
They are squad based "strategy" superhero games, set in a 60's golden age comic world.
Its almost a parody of the time, but still a god interpetation. You got several heroes with different powers, like mind powers, melee powers, flight, etc
And its up to you and and you squad to twart the evil lord dominion from taking over the earth...
The voicework in theese games are good, and hits spot on the theme with heroc cries like, Rings of rexor and for the ant: I'm ANT-Tastic....
It might be the comic book geek in me that they appeal to, but I'd love to see what other people here think of the games... :D
 
This post epitomizes ambiguity, as these games really are "gems", and they really are "god" interpretation.

Um, that said, I played neither.
 
They did well in capturing the setting style of the Silver Age of comic books for first part, though I have yet to play the expansion to see how well they did with the ending phase of the Golden Age style.

The gameplay was great in the first part, and the engine is a fun one to make a kinetic super-hero with. :) One of my favorite RTS games, by far.
