Frm question

First time out of the vault
I trying to make a new critter following pixote's tutorial, but I have two set backs, the first being that my laptop has no internet I need to find a place to download Frame animator and photoshop.

the second problem is the one I was hoping someone here could help me with, I used fade to extract the frm files from critter.dat but what I got out wont load in titanium browser the title of the files has frm in it but the file type is listed as GZ.

Take GIMP instead of Photoshop.
FrameAnimator can be downloaded here.

With "automate" you can extract everything as BMP.
Titanium browser was buggy for me, too.
 
If you want to extract frames, you open FrameAnimator, go to File/automate, select frame files and hit OK. This will spit out BMP images and FPR file you will need to assemble the frame file back.
To assemble, you go File/Open, select that FPR file and provided that you didnt renamed the BMP files or misplaced them (just edited), it will reassemble the file as it was. Then you go File/make FRM, and save your new FRM file.
 
I see, should be simple now, just gotta find an internet source to download frame animator. ( Iphone isnt gonna cut it )

But thanks for the reply and when I get it going I'll post updates here
