Anybody know how I can fix regedit, msconfig and taskmanager not starting up?

My Norton Anti-Virus got rid of a virus that disables these (monitors for their processes and terminates them), but I still can't open them up. It's really starting to piss me off because I've been wanting to edit some stuff in my registry for awhile, and it's almost impossible to get rid of a frozen app.

pfff, thats easy...

buy a new harddrive, replace it with your old one, and empty a 12 gauge shotgun into the old harddrive, re-install...

and all is good

P.S. The shotgun part is vital to the succesful recovery of your machine.

Shotguns are vital to everything.

I was looking for a quicker way to fix than to reinstall Windows, cause it takes too long. But oh well.

Seems to me the only solutions is:
-Reinstall
-Restore (if you've got XP)

A full format wouldn't be a bad idea if Norton took more than a few days to find the virus.
