Question about physics!
First I save a game with a die in my inventory.
Second, Lets say I drop a die out of my inventory. It then rolls out of my inventory with a certain force and then follows the terrain geometry until it halts. I then go look at the die and discover the number is 1.
If I were to reload my game, and then drop the die out of my inventory, would it be the same number? Or is there a possibility that the die would tend to land on a certain number more often than the others?
Second question!
If I drop two die, and one lands without a number facing up, or both, how do I declare the roll?
Final question! If anyone can show me a tutorial on scripting for Fallout 3, please that would be nice.
About the game:
You enter a gambling building.
You go talk to an npc to be teleported to the gambling room.
While in the gambling room you are watched by an npc.
To gamble you simply activate the gambling table.
And by doing so the minigame begins.
You give input on what number you think the die or dice will land on.
You are asked to place a bet.
Finally using the keyboard you control how strong of a throw you will make of the dice by holding down a key on your keyboard for a certain period of time, and then by releasing the key you throw the die or dice.
Also you luck can influence the probability of it landing on the number you guessed.
