Game Endings Fix for new computers

Did anyone ever come up with a good patch or modification that would make the endings of Fallout 1/2 play all the way through? Whenever I play it on my not 10 year old computer, it only plays each clip about the different towns for about 4 seconds then moves on to the next one

it would be really awesome to have a fix for that so when I finish this run through of the restoration project I can see a good proper ending

PS: I have heard that people would trick their computer into using less RAM? Did this work? If thats the only way whats the easiest way to do it?

Hey, dunno if this will work but you can try this:

1) Set compatibility for Fallout1/2 executables to Win95 or Win98.

2) If that doesn't work try running them via DOSBox.

(Unless you've tried that already, in which case the only other thing I found that fixes it was running fallout inside a win95 vm...)

Well I tried the sound accelerator fix
seems to be working, im no where near the end of the game so i don't know about that part, but it seems to be working find on the death cutscenes
