Which files from the unpatched version do I need to copy to keep the dublicating bug of items and vehcicles in the patched version?

Also I'm concerned of two tricks which I read about over at http://www.gamewinners.com

1) Carrying one Bullhorn trap in one of your two item slots, should increase your strengh to 12.

True or False?

2) By carring two lockpick sets in both of your two item slots, should increase your chance of picking a lock more then just wearing one.

True or False?

The duplicating bug is I believe in the the code of the game itself. IMHO, it's useless unless you want to cheat. If you want to cheat there are equally effective ways to add multiple items.

Not sure about the bullhorn trap, I don't think it is in the game after patch.

Lockpicks are better if you have one in each hand slot.

I think with either you can actually see the percentage in the skilldex or your stats increase if the items are placed in the hand slots. Its the quickest way to know for sure.

yeah but the patch biggest mistake is to allow an editor that allows the player to edit the whole campaign......

i have seen certain players start with 5 recruits with General rankings and all armed wth Gauss Miniguns and Advanced Power Armour. which is really worse than duping items.

I wouldn't say it is a mistake to allow that kind of power with the editor. You need that ability when creating maps.

I can't believe there are that many people that edit the the campaign to make it easier. If I edit it, I usually make it harder. I have added more waves of supermutants to the Kansas City mission to make it even more of a challenge!

I tried the bullhorn bit and it didn't work for me, and my game is patched.

As for the lockpick yes, it works better if you have one in both hands. I think that your ability to repair is also better if you have a toolkit in both hands. Not sure what else is better if you use two hands.
