It Wandered In From the Wastes
it's almost weekend(at least in my head it is), and i think i will restart playing fallout 3 for the third time now.

I have explored a good bit of the places to go, and done a few "main side quests", and most of the "main quest"(if you can even call it that, it being so shoddy and all)

First playthrough(didn't finish it by a long shot, but was "burned out" after running into level 15 or so after only 3 days of play.) i went for a good guy.

Second playthrough i installed a few mods, namely;
Sagersmodded,
VATS MCE
Radiation redux(could be from sagers)
Killable children.
Better Power armor.
Less dismemberment mod(this one is gold, i actually feel it's special when i blow someone's head clear off now, instead of a hassle)
And played evil, which was quite fun.

I must say these Greatly enhanced my gameplay experience, as the wasteland was truly dangerous, and supermutants(especially brutes) were truly something to fear, as opposed to gimps who can be dealt with by 10mm gunfire.
And the game even felt somewhat falloutish...

But now the game somehow has devoured a few of my mods, and everytime i load my save it goes "content not available blabla might not work properly"

So, i've decided to restart the game, and play it more thoroughly, letting my actions decide my karma, rather than the other way around(very lacking in design i feel, the good/bad karma decisions seem really tacked onto a crappy spreadsheet of possible outcomes, 90% of which are not even made to account for CREATIVITY, but then again, bethesda are tools, and we should not expect better.

I was wondering if there are any additional mods i should look into?

I was planning on using the power-armor command to allow myself to use powerarmor after reading/listening to the holotape explaining PA training.

I might kill all traces of the BoS, as they label me incorrectly as a citizen, which i am in no way, as i spend most my time SAVING civilians.
This pisses me off to no extent, plus killing all BoS members should yield a good stash of Power armor for me to hoard.
I truly don't care about the main quest.

(haven't decided if i will kill the BoS guys or not, might just kill all outcasts, as i've done before on my evil game(have noticed no consequences for this))

I will mainly focus on making my own character somewhat believable, and i will focus on advancing my character in more ways than stats/perks/skills.
(possibly using pinkerton to age myself through facial reconstruction, as well as using haircuts to allow my hair/beard to grow)
I will also try to complete all quests not directly related to the mainquest as "in character" as possible.

I suspect that i will end up an evil character again, and i don't mind, as i really enjoy having Jericho as an ally, he looks really funny when wearing the ghoul mask.

So my question to you; how, through mods or otherwise do i enhance the Fallout 3 experience to be more of a roleplaying game?

Otherwise i'll just replay fallout 1/2 as i just aquired the collection.
Might even give tactics a shot.
But i DO want to "finish" fallout 3 so to say, but my evil character has made too many enemies, and don't want to cheat through
console to get people to like me again.

Will probably go for a repairman this time, with focus on small/energy weapons, as i haven't tried the custom weapons yet.

TL,DR; Must have mods, advise them, other advice for gameplay enhancement/enrichment is also appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Have you looked at this thread: http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=46192 ?

Recently I lacked the time to update the thread and the merge of sagers had to be removed for the moment, but it is still a good idea I think.

about the breaking: every repair mod breaks the game, since you can sell more. given the fact that the game itself provides you with insane amounts of ammo, cash and other loot, this is not really a problem by itself, it rather increases a problem which is already gamebreaking and unfixable for the moment.

However: some people are currently trying to lower the amount of loot and they are making progress. You should check out the nexus threads regardy that. I didn't have time to catch up upon their progress, but given the skill the modders have already shown (escpacially compared to bethesdas paided losers) I'd say this will be ready soon. So you might want to think about waiting for a bit longer.

The note when you load up a savegame is produced by sagersmod I believe, due to the HP change. Loading that game and saving it again should fix the question and remove it. I always does for me.
