Hmm, that is weird, it's working now.

Hehe, that third pic of the PS3 looks like a sandwhich grill thing. I'm sure if this thing overheats, you could cook stuff on it too! Another eason to buy a PS3!

22GB Resistance
by Zhao Jingyu

The right media format for next gen games has been a hotly debated subject ever since Microsoft announced that Xbox 360 games would come on DVD-9s and Sony announced that all PlayStation 3 games would be on Blu-ray discs. Critics of Sony's decision have argued that the extra space offered by Blu-ray is useless while supporters claim that the same space could be used to store larger environments and files.

Now, recent reports have surfaced claiming that PlayStation 3 launch games may indeed be larger than the 8.5GB offered by dual-layered DVDs. According to an MTV news article, Resistance: Fall of Man, one of the PlayStation 3's key launch titles will be 22GB when it hits shelves this November.

Ryan Schneider, a spokesperson for the game's development company told MTV: "We're going to fit more on a Blu-Ray disc than you could on an HD DVD."

While Microsoft has been marketing DVDs as enough, Sony has touted the benefits of 25GB single-layered and 50GB dual-layered Blu-ray discs. Although an add-on which will enable the Xbox 360 to read 15GB single-layered and 30GB dual-layered HD-DVDs will be released, the American software giant has confirmed that HD-DVD will be a movie format only.

The MTV article also revealed that Resistance: Fall of Man will use the PlayStation 3's motion sensing features and allow for 40-player online games.

Wii Information Coming Septemer 14?
Nintendo has sent out invitations to various press outlets (not including this one) announcing a September 14 event that promises to answer a lot of questions regarding launch details for Wii. The invitation reads:

Please join us for a celebration of video games! Nintendo of America personally invites you to experience our upcoming line up with Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime.

yeah it has been going for sometime now, the new visuals will be good for people new to the game.

And Electronic Asshats fucks over another company by taking them over, Mythic is going to get the shaft, and forget whatever hope there might have been with Warhammer Online. Their treatment of UO, in using laughable and moronic white trash ninja appeal, plus mangling much of what made Ultima the game it was, only served as further proof of what happens when corporate mentality overtakes design vision.

BF2 was ass because of how they treated the game, the original offered much potential that was made lame by the sequel only having a handful of maps that could be counted on an epileptic shop teacher's fingers and far less of the gameplay. Not to mention the frequent bugs, such as TeamKilling folks because they were flagged as an opponent, which is just simple shitty handling of simple variables. Or being able to shoot someone in the head with the M95 FIVE FUCKING TIMES and they still wouldn't die, that is how ass the game synchronization is. Or at least was, I have long since bailed from that sinking ship since hitting someone in the head with a .50 cal should have vacated their brains in an instant.

BF2 is a great game in concept but it fails sadly because of bugs, unbearable load times, constant server dropouts, more bugs, shity addons you have to pay for o and did I mention bugs.

Otherwise, it would have been brilliant and fun, true. I mean, playing as a psycho assault warrior was pretty fun, roadkilling people in all sorts of vehicles was fun. One of my favorite kills was a trio with a buggy jump, squishing into them on the other side of the wall. Same with paratrooping with HALO jumps from the one squad leader circling high above the map, and you join his group to respawn and drop.

One of the crappiest moments was locking onto your fellows mis-flagged in the jets with the missile posts, and being one of the deadliest shots with those and the sniper rifle, then the server would kick you.

I also find maps such as wake to be the painfull, it is a great map but if you get 2 good pilots your fucked if your on the US team, you end up spending 30 mins on the carrier constantly getting raped by jet whores and arty strikes. makes me so damm angry shitty fucking level design
