gatling laser, I think it sucks (spoilers)

I only get it at the end of the game, can u get it earlier?

It doesn't suck if u can get it earlier but by that time you will be storming the place with gauss mini and m60 which is way better. Unless you ran out of ammo or have no one with big guns skill.

Anyway you only need 1 guy with burst mode, more will result in infracticide, the rest can shoot behind with laser or plasma rifles.

I like the sound the gatling laser make though.

I like it. My main character runs around with it. ;) I'd like to use the GausMini but I can never seem to get ammo for it...

I mainly use the Vindicator, M2 and Sniper rifles. Is the M60 any good? It never seems to do much damage imo...

I'm at V-0 now, and I have only two ppl who are 130+ with energy weapons and they use plasma and GattLaser. They are supported by 3 M2's and a SniperDoc(TM). Seems to work quite well.

If you ask me tho, the game is too easy to finsih with just one or two good sniper/assaul guys, and the rest just carry ammo and stuff (pluss a medic/trapper/repair guy).

After I started playing in CTB (real-time to normal ppl) I don't even bother with team work...

No Way!

I don't know what the GuasMini is, but I have a feeling there isn't a lot of ammo for it, I am on the map where you have to rescue or kill the Merhcant, kerr or somthing, anyway....the Gattling gun is cool. The Vinidicator and Avenger suck against robots, 7.62mm ammo doesn't do any damage to them, the Sunbeam Gattling Laser (I only have one so far) kicks major ass. On average I can kill any Humonid Robots with one burst (my main guys has it) two at most, and the lil scurry things I kill with one. Man I love this gun, the mission where you have ot disable the nuclear plant I did almost all with the Gattling laser, except that part where you fight that huge Robot. I used 2 Rocket Launchers 2 Plasma (1 protyope). Anyway the gun rocks. Plenty of ammo for it, the gun isn't too heavy, unlike the horrible M2 which is soo heavy you need two people to carry ammo for you. The delpeted Uranium rounds are a lb for bullet...thats way too much!

Hmm, I only find mine at the last mission, where did u find it? By that time it doesn't work well.

The first one I ever found was on the mission where you must destroy six power nodes simultaneously. I didn't have enough weight left, so I left it for later. But I forgot to go back and pick it up before I left the mission. Oops.
 
Hmm

I found it earlier than that....because I rember that and the mission before it being very easy because I went through the robots like nothing...also I was playing on the Easy setting so that prolly has somthing to do with it. :-)
