Gauss Ammo?

Ok, I'm about to head off to the last mission, and one of my guys is armed with the oh-so awesome MEC Gauss Minigun and my Sniper has the Gauss Rifle, only problem is that I can't find 2cm EC ammo anywhere! I have plenty of money, but the QM doesn't have any Gauss ammo. I've tried hopping in my vehicles and killing time out in the Wasteland with random (and special) encounters, but when I come back he still doesn't have anymore. Is there anything I can do or am I basically just gonna have to say goodbye to the gun?

Well , after you enter the bunker at the final mission , the Brotherhood ppl there have some 2mm EC ammo for you to trade.(about 200?)
