It Wandered In From the Wastes
Gears of War coming to PC Nov. 6th. Adding 5 new chapters and a few new multiplayer maps. Because code was optimized differently for the PC, PC and Xbox360 users will not be allowed to play together online.

Excited for this. I played a few chapters on my friends Xbox360, and loved the game. I was disappointed that it wasn't on the PC, but now it's coming out....yay.

Xbox360 fans were pretty pissed that Gears did not hold to the Xbox exclusive title....

Anyway, one reason xbox 360 users are annoyed is the extra content on the PC, that they'll have to wait for.
 
Yes, definitely. Although with the awesomeness that is Gears of war, it's probably worth it.
 
I am getting it. This is one of my favorite games, and I don't even have a xbox 360. Hope it works well on a puter!
 
I'm sure that many people will buy it regardless of the fact that it's only five new chapters in a game that took about 6 hours to beat and left me wondering how anyone could possibly enjoy it...

Then again, I'm sure that it'd sell over a million copies if it was just a special edition that came with a hat.

I played it back in Mexico with a cousin on his console. Was entertaining, but overall pretty meh.

Meh enemies, meh combat, meh weapons and a disastrous ending. Doesn't beat Q2.

Well, bloody well get used to it. You buy shit from Microsoft, be prepared to not like the taste and smell.
 
Other 360 owners I know tend to get all pissed off and defensive when I point out that the whole game consisted of no more than
10 Find cover
20 Shoot from said cover until everything is dead
30 Cutscene
40 Goto 10

Sure, it was pretty, sure, it's fun in a mindless kinda way (although Serious Sam does the whole mindless shooter thing a thousand times better), but overall it's a rather hollow experience.
 
I have it for 360 and I honestly dislike the game. It was ok to play through once but haven't touched it since. I tried replaying it on Hard but got bored real fast. Every time you play it, its exactly the same: you gotta use the same covers, the same tactics, the same weapons. Probably a good game (since so many people like it) but to me its a big meh. Multiplayer is boring as well, especially if you've played something like Counter Strike. I don't recommend it at all. Maybe when the price goes down.
 
I loved it when I first played it, but every time I go to play it again, I pick up my CD case (with 360 games in it), look at the cover, and just "Maybe later..."

I don't know what it is, I just don't like playing it anymore.

Yea, I think "dislike" is too strong of a word to use as it was indeed fun the first time but I have no desire to replay it at all. It left a bad taste I guess.
