Ghouls attack me for no apparent reason in Gecko - Why???

Hi,

In Fallout 2:

If i am in Gecko, even if for the first time, I will walk around a bit, then suddenly i start getting attacked, by everyone...

Anyone have any idea what makes them do this?

Does it matter what kit you wear, or the fact that I am armed or have Grave Digger associated with my name?

Any insight would be much appreciated....

It's a known bug. Do you have the patched version of the game? If you don't know how to check, look in your Fallout2 directory and see if you have a file named patch000.dat.

Or for that matter, look up the version number in the corner of the main menu screen.

Use the savegame converter after you patch and you should be ok. You can get it here:
