GLITCH - Falche, skill and hit point gain per unchanged

The rules of this forum seem to dictate that when I ask for troubleshooting help I state which mods I am running. I am using Restoration Project.

I used Falche to modify all my stats to 1 for a challenge, but I found a glitch. My hit points, which should have plummeted to 18, remained at 30. My skill point gain per level, which should have been 12 (I had skilled), was 20 (reflecting 5 intelligence). My hit point gain per level, which should have been 2, was 4 (reflecting 5 endurance).

Anyone know how to fix this? It would be annoying to have to open up falche and manually adjust my stats every time I level up. I'm also concerned that this failure to reflect modified stats could have problems elsewhere in the game.

All other derived stats, such as carry weight, sequence, action points, base armor class, poison and radiation resistance, etc. ARE properly reflected by the modified by the stats.

I suppose I could fix this if I could edit the GCD file, that might solve the glitch. But a search of this site and google turn up no results for GCD editors.
 
I think that this has to do with the fact that certain stats like "skill points on level up" and "base HP" are set when you create your character. With Falche it is not possible to change these "hidden" values.
 
I fixed it! Though I had to reset my game (only an hour of progress lost).

I made a new character and set all my stats to 1. I still had 33 floating character points. I saved the GCD, then opened up a hex editor. I knew that 33 corresponded to 21 in hex, so I looked for 21 in the document. I found it, and changed it to 00. I then opened up Fallout, and was delighted to see that I had 1 in all stats and 0 character points. I then started the game and had the correct number of hit points.
 
so you trying to do a ULTIMATE challange in fallout?, going ironman with all SPECIAL stats 1? well good luck :P
 
Haha, not iron man. That would be impossible. One bad random encounter and it's all over. Theoretically, once I get through the temple of trials, I could grind levels out indefinitely by getting hit by a spore plant, running away, doctoring up, and repeating. Or using the steal skill to swap $1 back and forth several times at 100-150 xp a pop. But that would get tedious.
