Why is PA so popular in Eastern Europe?

I know your countries suck, but surely wishing for an apocalypse is slightly over the top?

Also, I'm sure at least one of those is imaginary.

Where are you from? Texas (makes me remember one phrase from Full Metal Jacket)?

And the apocalypse - we had several interesting thing here in Europe (I hesitate to call Czech Republic, Poland and - with a bit of imagination Slovakia - Eastern Europe, we have a nice term "Central Europe" which serves the purpose of distinguishing between ex Warsaw Pact countries and ex Soviet Union for us, we hate "ruskies" more than most people do). After having two world wars, communism, Chernobyl (and in Czech Republic f***** ******* ****** * * * **** ** * socialists for eight years), post-apo future will look quite promising to you :)

Also it may be caused by the number of choices you are presented, a certain "fight" against consumerism...
