I'm looking for a good action game, preferably FPS or third person, to LAN with 3 of my friends, coop if possible. We recently finished Left4Dead, it was great, and we've played COD5 Nazi zombies to the death. Any suggestions?

I think my friends can be pretty picky when it comes to graphics, but it hasn't stopped them from LANing Codename Eagle in the past.
We tried playing a LAN coop game of Serious Sam 2 tonight. It started out fun, but man did it get repetitive. We stopped playing after the first level. Felt like the game was "done" by then.
I've been trying to get them into flight-sims, but they don't want to get joysticks unless we play an ultra-arcade-ish game. I prefer realistic flight sims like Sturmovik or FSX. It would just seem fun to race in jumbojets.

To be honest, Serious Sam 2 is shit. Try finding the older prequels, First and Second Encounter. Give them a whirl yourself first, and decide if they're too much like Serious Sam 2.
System Shock 2 has great co-op. For deathmatch I would recommend Painkiller.
We tried System Shock 2 about a year ago. It turned out the infinite spawning of enemies and the general disarray of the team proved to be too much for us to keep playing it.
I really wish Painkiller had coop. I still don't see why they included that. Poor design choice.

Hidden and Dangerous 2 with Addon Sabre Squadron. WW2, Coop (up to 6), Mafia Engine, AI okay (not to good, but not scripted)

Why don't you just play Diablo 1 or 2 while you wait? I've been playing Diablo 2 coop with my roomie on and off for about a month now and it's still pretty damn fun.victor said:
