Got a small windows 7 problem.

The picture pretty much explains it all. Even if winamp is supposed to have an icon in the notification area it does not work. Always worked before untill just now after i formated one disc and reinstalled it,

A cookie to whoever finds a sollution. Reinstalling did not work :)
 
Latest Winamp didn't work properly on my Win7 x64 either. I've found in taskmanager that there's winamp.exe process still running in memory after closing the player properly through icon. I'd suggest you using AIMP instead, it's excellent Russian clone of Winamp with a handful of brand new features as bookmarks for playlists, for instance. Fully customizable, including system-tray icons on/off.

Did a closer look around and it seems the one you see in the picture is a "ghost" file from my old hdd. The new version of winamp i had did not work so i tried another version and now it works wich is a bit weird. Thanks anyways.
