Gothic: The Movie!

Some enterprising fans of the original Gothic have created a machinima of the main storyline of the first Gothic game. The German version of this has been out for a while now, but just now the English version has been released. Around 100 minutes long, they did a really good job on this.

Makes me nostalgic for the original voice of Diego, it was a great job that reinforced his mentor role. Gothic 2 and 3 used crappy high-pitched 'thief' voices, which was disappointing.

Just got it since I found the news on one of RPG -watch or -codex....just checked to made sure it started and skipped through it very fast...will check it later on.

Yes,the original Diego sounded like he should,not like he did after,where he sounds like some scared "oh,I hope there's no police around since I'm a convict" ex. convict who forgot his balls in prison...

Ya, I was disappointed by how lame Diego got in Gothic 2, he was probably my favorite character from the first one.

I see they fixed the typo on that download. When I first heard of this "movie" and went over to the download site, they listed the file size as 550 GB...
