Hail, An introduction and a question/request

Hi there! I found my way back here after suddenly deciding to run through FO2 once again. I then thought to check google and see if there was any life in the FO franchise, having in mind that it would make me really happy if someone made a mod adding all the FO:T weapons to FO2. In any case, I was a frequent poster on the original FO and FO2 official boards. But really i wanted to put a flag up and see if there are any of the old guard here from the UV boards. Not that anyone would remember me, but fun for nostalgia's sake at least.

So, yea, I guess the question then is, does anyone know if there's a mod that adds the FO:T weapons to FO2?

Yes, plus more weapons, 3 new armors, a dozen new critters, and randomized loot, inventories, etc. But this mod isn't quite beta yet. If you want to be a beta tester send me a PM. Here are the Weapon and Ammo stats.

wow, some amazing stuff you got there dude_obj. A couple of questions if I may.

1) Besides the whole extra artwork enchillada, what kind of extra stuff are you intending on bringing in script-wise and dialogue-wise?

2) Can I help? Pretty pretty please with a cherry on top . No but seriously I thought about starting another mod and then went, "meh". I thought about maybe just altering things on a smaller scale (private whatshisface who dissintigrates in depolv.... *shock*... doesn't dissintigrate! and becomes party member!)

I guess I'm an okay scripter, good enough at least to go "har har " at dude_obj. And hey, I write some pretty lengthy, teetering on boring, dialogue, so that's a plus.

If you say "no contributions! I have spoken!" then no biggie, I'll just add 'm afterwards. Cheers!

There are 118 new or modified scripts so far, but most are related to random store inventory restocking, random loot in containers, and random weapon wielding on critters in encounters. There isn't yet any new quests or dialog. The first beta is essentially a bunch of new weapons, a dozen new critters, and various randomization enhancements.

2) Can I help?

We can definitely use help. This is currently a development team of two people, with contributions from a third. The next major things are actually going to be pretty fun to develop. The world map right now is a satellite image of northern california. We have the rest of that map, to extend all the way down south to mexico, which will include the old FO1 locations. I have a set of FO1 maps that have been stripped of all critters and items. We'd like to "age" these and add a new story to each. Also, wild_qwerty just sent me a toxic cave mod, and we may add several other area mods. There is also the idea of adding to the BOS outposts.

I have avoided trying to rally for a large team because small teams move fast when people take the ball and run with it. Contributions are definitely welcome. Send me a PM if you are serious.
