Tomorrow is Lunar New Year's Eve. Monday is the Lunar New Year!

Go party, have some great food, asks your elders for money, dress red and stay up until 5 am Monday night!

Clean your house before the eve and make sure you don't throw out anything after the eve.

Fish and dumplings are important food items for luck and prosperity.

Apparently, quite a few China towns will have fire works so go join the party.

The next year is the year of the Ox, have fun!

Ahhh, I miss living in San Francisco. Best Chinese New Year celebration in America, hands down, owing to one of the largest and most well-integrated asian communities in the country. (Of course, Starseeker, you've probably got me beat on both counts )

I used to make out like a bandit with those lucky little red envelopes the relatives of friends and exes always seemed so eager to dole out... *sigh*
