Having an odd problem

First time out of the vault
I'm trying to play Fallout Tactics, and after a special encounter, I'm just stuck. Two groups of people were in a stand off, and my party was in the vehicle. The game will not allow me to leave the special encounter area. I've tried killing all the people there (and leaving them alone), leaving my vehicle (and taking it), and backing up my savegame and reinstalling Tactics. Any suggestions?

*I am using the latest patch.

Tell ya what, PM a moderator to move this thread to the FOT forum and I'll give you the answer.
 
Terrible sorry. I did read the notation about Fallout Talk not being welcome in this one. I thought that I was clicking around in the Fallout area. I'm a bit tired.
