First time out of the vault
Hello,

I'm new to this board, however, I've been browsing the forums for a while now. As a fallout fan I have FO1, FO2, and FOT.

As far as community and mod development is concerned, which community is most active? FO1 or FO2? The reason I ask is due to the fact that I want to re-install FO but not sure which one is most "community-active."

I believe you can easily find the answer to your question yourself in the files section. Most Fallout mods known to mankind are to be found there.

Of course, you could also simply install both of them. What, you have a 5MB hard drive or something?
 
More "community active"? If you mean the amount of people discussing it while playing it: both are none, so that doesn't matter. Everyone's played it, and no-one's talking about it, really, besides the speed-runs.
If you're talking about mods, check the files section. Fallout 2 is more active in that respect, but more for technical reasons than anything else.

However, this is posted in the wrong place. This is not a discussion about Fallout, and should hence not be in here. Of course, I wouldn't know where it should have been posted, although I have a feeling that it shouldn't have been posted at all.
Meh, I'll let the topic live for a bit. Next time, though, look around a bit more before you ask questions. The modding boards here, for instance, or the files section.
 
FO and FO2 are somewhat interchangable since theyre the only true FO games.

FO Craptics is somewhat used, but mainly by those that try to make maps that actualy have a FO feel and RP playability to them, two things the game itsled sorely lacked.
