Help! All characters stats low, can't move or do anything!

So, I got back to the bunker after the Peoria mission and everyone was over-encumbered and immobilized. All characters used the afterburner gum and might be addicted (though only used once) on the last mission. I have dropped all items so that they could move but when I talk to the brother hood medic there is no option to heal or cure addictions. What do I do, is there a way to rest and heal so that stats return to normal? Everyone's strength is so low they can carry barely carry anything and cannot really operate any weapons. I have tried healing them with my medic (Mandy) through first aid and doctor skills to no avail, along with using trauma packs which restores some strength but only a few points. Can anyone help me, I have no idea what to do?! Thanks!

Who ever said such option exists?

You better don't mess with drugs, or... Face the consequences. Now you need to wait until addiction wears off. Spend several days or weeks moving around map, and addiction will fade away eventually.

There's no "cure" for addictions, only time, long time can heal you. Just remember that, when using drugs.

Thanks. Yeah, I ended up wandering around the desert for a few days while everyone healed, avoiding confrontations. I guess this is the only Fallout where you can't use doctor services, except for medics in your own party. Oh well, still a great game.
