Help finding folders.

It Wandered In From the Wastes
Could someone help me please? I am running windows xp and i just installed the hugemoungous file for Fallout 2. I went to C:\Program Files\ BlackIsle\ Fallout 2\ data and i can't seem to find the data folder or the proto folder and ect. All i find is map and sounds folder. Any help would be welcomed. I just need to find these folders so i can install the MIB88 MegaMod and i don't think i need help with that. Thanks.
 
Oi, irmão Soifran, Sim, but what version of Windows are you using, xPoncex? Have you started a game? can you find saved files?

Right now my master.dat is 317mb and from using dxdiag im using Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, build 2600) and i haven't started the game. Also i read somewhere i might need to run a registry cleaner as this is my third time installing fallout 2 in these 2 days. Also i haven't started a game or patched it yet. If i do have to patch it which one would work with MIB88 the official patch or Killaps Unofficial?
 
Um, you are not supposed to have any files (except sound) in your data folder. Those comes from unofficial patches and mods. And you can't have any patches together with the Megamod, it comes with killap's patch integrated (though I don't know what version).

So i ran the game for the first time and now there is a proto folder but no data or any other files. Inside the proto folder are critter and item folders.
