Help me again please!!! i can't finish FO1!!1

First time out of the vault
my problem is as follows: i've already killed everyone in the military base, not did the cathedral yet, then i blow the military base and appears a video showing me the base blowing out and then the main menu of the game appears...
i've tried also doing the cathedral before the military base, i've killed the master then go out the cathedral to see it blows then i see a video of the cathedral blowing out and then the main menu appears again...
i guess i should back to vault 13 to tell the overseer that i finished the mutants but i can't cause like i've said after either one or the video the main menu of the game appears....
please helpppp....

Are you missing the movie files for some reason..?


I once had a pirated version of Fallout that was missing those and that's what was happening.

i don't know...
how can i check if all my movie files are ok???
 
Are you actually LEAVING the Military Base when the cinematic plays?

If you're still in the base (or possibly even when you're not on the exit grid of the outdoor map) you'll be caught in the explosion and die.

Same goes for the Cathedral.

now that i think of it, in the two explosions that i've tried i was waiting in the outdoor of the building...
in the cathedral i was in one of the old buildings that are in front of the door...
and in the base i was waiting for the explosion right out of the fence...
i'm gonna try leaving to the world map before the building blows out...

all right that was the problem...
now i went to the cathedral and leave to the world map before cinematics starts and then when it finishes the world map appears again to let me continue playing...
