Help Picking a Video Card

The Video Card on my current computer sucks.

ATI - OEM RAGE 128 PRO AGP W/32MB


I was looking at buying a GEFORCE4 but I admit the only thing I know about Video cards is "128mb video card is better then 32mb one" =]

so I was hoping someone could tell me the difference between all these different GEFORCE4 cards ;)

hmm... whats the TI4xxx stuff mean? and so forth.
 
I believe the only differences between the GF4 TI cards are the clock speeds, but any GF4 TI will provide excellent performance.

The Geforce5 will be out in a month or two to counter ATI's 9700, so if you've got the cash, you might want to wait for that card. I doubt you'll even have the monitor or processor to make good use of that, or even a Geforce4 for that matter.

Unless you've got a damn good system, I'd get a less expensive card, or just get a Geforce4 TI 4200 which you can get for $134 on pricewatch.com

how come the 4200 model I showed here said 128mb?

They must've gotten the model wrong.

@ what clock speed? The clock speeds less than 1500 aren't all that spectacular, but will run most games decently. Up until 2Ghz, the Pentium 4 trails the Athlon XP.
