help :( something REALLY bad happened to my game

ok sincei have the RP patch i couldnt find the schorcher weapon because i couldnt talk to doctor since i finished all his quests...
so i moved a certain file from the map directory to another because i wanted the schorher to spawn at vault 13(its original place)and got it that way
but now in EVERY city i went all the things respawned!my pipboy know what guess i completed but it those things STILL exist
witch means
aliens RESPAWN at mine
dunton bros RESPAWN
every other quest and ANYTHING respawn
i know since i did most of the quests for every city i visited(i am in new reno now) i can just ignore the den etc. and play the remaining game but i wanna have my kills back i still have he exp but i dont wanna visit the damn mine and see those aliens since i killed them
please any fix to that?

did you save the files you replaced? because you should just put them back

What files did you move? It's hard to guess what's happened without knowing that.

well i just only move a file that would replace the schorcer.i went to DATA MAPS and moved it i thnk it was called VCT.ctf something.i am not sure but i cut and paste it.went to get the schorcher.and then pasted back .please any help would be great

Please be patient. Begging for help can be annoying, but doubleposting can upset the mods and admins and earn you a strike. First thing you should do is to backup your savegames of Fallout. This way you can ensure that you don't lose your current progress. You could reinstall Fallout and a the mods you initially installed after that and copy back your savegames into your fresh Fallout installation.

Most important thing: backup your savegames and don't panic! Watch this topic and find some place where you can upload one of them. Somebody might take the time to look into the problem by analyzing one of your savegames later.

Where did it say to move a file to get the original guardian of forever encounter?

Does this happen if you load an earlier game before you got the solar scorcher?
