HELP! Stranded by a bug in Sierra Army Depot

I'm running Killap's newest patch, October 19th release.

I went to the 4th floor of Sierra Army Depot to kill some robots for XP. I took the central elevator down, used a Super Tool Kit to deactivate the force field to the left from the elevator. Then I passed through the deactivated forcefield and killed the 3 robots with my buddies. When the fight was over, I saved the game. When I then tried to head back out, I could no longer deactivate the forcefield which had turned back on. Using the Tool Kit on the Forcefield Emitter yields 'That does nothing.' and trying to use your Repair skill without the toolbox results in 'You cannot repair that.' I cannot use the maintenance elevator either, because it's behind a locked door and my Lockpick isn't high enough to beat the lock, it's only at 50% which doesn't suffice. So now I'm trapped.

Probably belongs in the patch thread rather than as a separate one. In any case, where are you repairing? On the physical field itself on on the metal emitter part to the left/right of the yellow field? Try both.

Directing the repair at the forcefield emitter as usual. I got desperate enough to try the field itself too tho, and that just kept shocking me.

I ended up getting the character editor and giving myself a temporary Lockpick boost to get outta there. However, it seems all the forcefields for level 4 are permanently malfunctioning like this. I think I can still blow them up though, making them red so I can get through though it does damage. So it might not be a major issue. Sucked to have to hack the game tho.

I will look into it. I could swearI remember a report of a similar issue once.
